I start a drawing by gathering inspiration and references to draw from. The drawing expands as i draw in an intuitive way. When i am done with the sketch, i go in with watercolor and add gouachepaint, colored pencil and oilpastels on top to give depth and trexture. Sometimes i also add eyeshadow for soft shadows and gradients, it gives an almost airbrush-like appearence. I really enjoy drawing mysterious, genderless characters that operate in a world with loose physical laws, riddled with colorful fantasy elements and references to contemporary everyday items.

My favourite part of the process is drawing the obligatory shiny items and dark hair. I think those two things really pull it all together, and add different levels of intricacy and interest to the final piece.
